Closed tournaments are elite chess events with a limited number of invited participants, primarily organized for the purpose of achieving Grandmaster and International Master titles. We organize such tournaments at the request of foreign Players or Federations, adjusting the dates and composition to meet FIDE regulations on ratings and national representation.
Important:
Tournament:
- Duration: Each tournament lasts 7 days (unless otherwise specified in the announcement)
- Number of games: Each tournament has 9 games
- Game tempo: 90 minutes for 40 moves, then 30 minutes for the rest of the game, with an additional 30 seconds per move (from the first move).
- Match schedule: The third and fifth day is a double round (1 1 2 1 2 1 1)
General conditions for registration:
- Fill out the form at the bottom, choose the date and tournament that suits you best
- A minimum of 1 (one) and a maximum of 3 (three) tournaments can be selected.
- It is possible to select only one group of tournaments, say FM1, IM2, GM3, but not FM1, IM1, GM1 because they are played on the same day.
- If there are a maximum of 9 (nine) tournaments, 3 (three) tournaments are played on the same day, say FM1, IM1 and GM1. After the end of those tournaments, another group of tournaments FM2, IM2, GM2 etc. can be started.
- The enrollment fee will be defined by the announcement
- To reserve a place in the tournament, or chessresults, you need to pay 20% of your total entry fee. Payment will be defined in the schedule.
Note: After filling out the form for organizing closed tournaments, below the form is a table with a list of tournament requests. When requests for at least 1 (one) tournament are filled which is 10 players, players from that group will be contacted and the tournament announcement will be published. Other players who filled out the form will also be notified of which tournament will be organized.
